My car has been in the shop for two weeks now.
My mother had been staying with us to take Jay to and from work. ( fun )
Tuesday my mom had a dr appointment so Jay got a ride from his buddy to work. AAMCO calls at 2pm said that my car is going to be another $200.00. GREAT. I’ll be honest with you, we’re broke. An hour after the phone call from AAMCO, Jay storms in. He, and 12 other workers have been laid off. One emotional half hour later, my dad calls and said the out patient procedure my mom needed went very bad and she was at the hospital.
Thankfully, my mom is doing okay, us on the other hand not so much. With the unemployment rate so insanely high the department of labor actually have designated days when you are supposed to call to file your claim alphabetically, according to last name; so we have not been able to start the unemployment process yet.
If there’s any good in all of this, Little Jay is absolutely THRILLED to have Daddy home 24/7 now! ( And so is his mommy)
